The brilliant Nick Winston has created a gripping musical version of the well-known Japanese manga series Death Note, which is based on the original works by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. Winston skillfully brings the story to the stage and produces a cogent and gratifying viewing experience. In 2023, this award-winning manga made its debut around Europe, selling out for ten shows at The London Palladium and The Lyric Theatre. The stage adaptation of Ivan Menchell's book does a fantastic job of incorporating elements of the preexisting plot while also making the required changes to bring the story to life in a coherent manner.
