To celebrate London Craft Week 2022, Morgan relocated its production line away from Malvern for the the first time since its inception in 1909. Morgan's 21st-century coachbuilding method remains unique within the industry, from hand-fabricating each car's aluminum panels to the carpentry skills necessary in manufacturing the ash wood frames and the leather work to trim the inside.

One of Morgan's senior designers, Thomas Brainwood, held a live talk compared by Morgan owner and friend of the brand, Dave Burt. Thomas discussed his own career in automotive design, his experiences with Morgan, the company's devotion to craftsmanship and tailoring, and the brand's future path. He also fielded questions asked by the curious audience during the talk.

A number of the iconic brand's vintage automobile models were on show. The flagship Morgan 4/4, built on the Morgan steel chassis, was first designed and used in 1936. This chassis was manufactured until 2020, giving it the world's longest-running production automobile architecture.

Thomas plays an important role for the automobile manufacturer. He is involved in the design of new and future vehicles as well as working directly with Morgan's customers on specific projects. The same workmanship skills that were crucial during the creation of the Morgan Motor Company in 1909 have been passed down through generations and are as alive now as they have ever been through such people as him.
