The Prince's Foundation held an exhibition at The Garrison Chapel in Chelsea Barracks, the charity's art gallery. The free exhibition was open and accessible to the public Monday through Friday, for the duration of London Craft Week, and continued until Friday 27 May.
Visitors could view the artworks created by The Prince's Foundation students, employees, and graduates, among other things. There were also furniture, fabrics, and original artworks made using traditional methods from all around the world on exhibit.
His Royal Highness has been at the forefront of supporting sustainability for more than 40 years. The effects of natural resource depletion, climate change, and growing urbanization have been obvious and generally known during the previous decade.
The Prince's Foundation's work is motivated by the idea that we can only create a sustainable future that meets the requirements of our planet by taking a comprehensive approach. As such, we can build a more sustainable future by recognizing the balance, order, and links between ourselves and the natural world.
The exhibition honored The Prince's Foundation's history, ideals, purposes, initiatives, and education programs through the lens of craft, architecture, and art, with a special focus on the charity's mission to champion and conserve historic craft skills.
We got to see lots of different creative and inspiring pieces at the exhibition, and got a good sense and a first-hand look at some of the Foundation's impressive work.
