In the immersive, Monopoly Lifesized experience, which is located in the heart of London, a 15m 15m lifesized Monopoly board is used. Monopoly Lifesized allows players to experience the world's most popular board game in a new and exciting way. It combines modern technology with all popular board game components. Players walk around a large board for 80 minutes while completing difficult challeneges to purchase homes. Tickets begin at £49 per person.
We arrived at Monopoly Lifesized HQ about 15 minutes before our appointment time. While waiting, we had some drinks, browsed the Monopoly-themed store, and stored our belongings in the free lockers. One is also given a buzzer to alert them when the game is about to begin. You can arrive early and enjoy The Top Hat Restaurant & Bar. When it is your turn to play, you will be led into the gaming briefing room, where your adventure will begin.
Visitors can participate in one-of-a-kind challenges for a chance to win a home. It was thrilling to attempt a Mayfair robbery, racing against the clock to build some of London's most famous structures, solving a perplexing murder case, and entering the world of codebreakers.
There are four life-size boards available. Booking the game online is a simple process that one's required to complete first. When buying tickets, you can choose from one of four exciting Monopoly Lifesized boards. The gameplay on each board is identical, but the themes and difficulties vary, giving players the opportunity to return and compete again.
To relive my favourite Monopoly moments, I chose the classic board. I took on the city board as I toured the streets of London's landmarks. Because the luxury board has stealth-based challenges, I chose to dress to impress. There was a juniour board as well, a family-friendly activity that a younger audience may enjoy.
There are some important guidelines on how the event unfolds in the room. Before meeting Mr. Monopoly, we watched a brief introductory video. He welcomed us to the game and introduced us to our teammates and opponents. For each session, players form four teams, each with a maximum of six participants. As a result, if you are a 2, 3, or 4, you should be aware that another group or groups may join you.
He also introduced us to the playing token that would act as our tour guide. Before the game began, we were led upstairs to the playing board and given a brief introduction and explanation of the game's rules.
We got a chance to take in our surroundings when we stepped onto our game board for the first time as the timer counted down to the start. Soon, the game kicked off when the countdown was over.
The eventual winner was announced and allowed to bask in their triumph after 80 frantic, exciting, and exhausting minutes with more ups and downs than the stock market! After the game, we returned to the restaurant for some well-deserved refreshments after receiving the praise of our adversaries.
As London's premier Monopoly Lifesized location, it was the most immersive gaming experience I'd ever had. If the previous game wasn't insane and exciting enough, you can be sure the next one will be more insane and amazing. I loved how each theme presented a different set of challenges and how they managed to incorporate cutting-edge technology into this classic game.
