The dating environment and the emotional experiences of a young Jamaican Brummie guy are explored in a compelling and dramatic manner in Nathan Queeley-Dennis's debut play. It is a love letter to Birmingham, celebrating men who value self-care, and respect to women, and their friends.

In the play, Nathaniel, the main character, is seen consoling himself after yet another failed courtship attempt. His mother had just comforted him after another disastrous date. Nathaniel's excitement quickly surpasses his disappointment as he prepares for another round of online dating. Queeley-Dennis's natural energy and impeccable timing make him an enthralling performer.

Through his comedy, he shares his thoughts about Birmingham life and his experiences as a Jamaican Brummie with wit and compassion. His accurate portrayal of his critical Jamaican father adds to the play's depth of humor and intensity. While discussing his relationship with his Jamaican father, Nathaniel expertly mimics the strict tone of his father while expressing the love and sternness that underpin this. It illustrates the intricacy of family bonds and how they shape our identities.

The play is quite stylish. It is amazingly poetic how Nathaniel opened up about how alone he feels in a world that doesn't always understand or welcome him. This timely and relevant message is heartfelt, especially in the present climate where toxic masculinity is still frequently accepted.

Queeley-Dennis wrote the play because he thought Birmingham and the Midlands were underrepresented in the arts. The drama celebrates the city and its people while addressing larger issues as well.

The acting and writing prowess of Queeley-Dennis is on display in this piece. His skill as a writer is evident in his ability to generate humor that is both funny and sympathetic making him a charming performer who has excellent timing and a natural way of connecting with listeners. Bullring Techno Makeout Jamz suggests that this aspiring theater star will enjoy great success in the future.
